Catblue Visual Development & Storyboards

Catblue, a foundational project for the studio, comes from an original script, recognized by a former producer of renowned Chinese filmmaker Feng Xiaogang.

The story follows a character named Black Cat, who lives a routine life,  commuting and from work, until they get hit by a truck. This accident gives Black Cat a second chance to look back on their life. Along the way, Black Cat meets Miss Cat, and begins to discover a sense of meaning that was previously missing.

Cat's life intersects with many other characters who have their own parallel stories, such as Boss Cat, Cleaner Cat, and Miss Cat. These characters' lives appear in the background and cross paths with one another in various ways. While the main storyline can be followed independently, there are also many details and clues that connect thoughout the narrative.
